Dude, I'm from Southern California, where they try that shit with the uggs and the shorts in goddamn summer weather, so I know of what crimes against fashion I speak of, but NO. LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS.

EVER.

STOP TRYING TO CONVINCE ME THIS IS SO. AND ALSO: TIGHTS UNDERNEATH SHORTS? GTFO.

ALSO, JAPAN STOP REVIVING THE EIGHTIES. IT IS DEAD AND GONE FOR A REASON.

cordially yours,

Saff.

ps.

ordered the jj an an issue off of amazon jp along w/some other things. Should get it this week.

Yesterday was also the worst teaching day ever, and I'm counting my mildly chaotic first day, too.

also, dear Jaejoong - you should go out drinking with Toma. I bet he's way more fun than that Yamashita fellow. Bring Junsu along. You guys can geek out about Hana Kimi.

hey mister

oh dear god, I have got that Kara song stuck in my head, somehow.

things I am going to do when I get the Internet:

1. Post more often: I have folders of photos, pages of journals to transcribe, and all the bizarre tv commercials I have watched over the various weeks to share

2. Get a gmarket account. Seoul is 3 hours away and the internet sort of negates that distance for me - I have no doubt that once I get my sea legs here, I'll be visiting Seoul more than once, but I also like to explore what I have here. There's a Uniqlo! And a skin food and a DHC and did I mention they have UNIQLO here? And Basic House. And an Artbox. Really, I'd just go to Seoul for the music shops. (oh and to see my friend S)

3. Google map my way around this town.

4. Take on line Korean lessons/email the Gwangju International centre more often so I can see about taking Korean lessons in person.

5. The shipping fees from Japanese sites to an Korean mailing address is way lower than to an American mailing address, so when I need my j-fix.....OH SWEET INTERNET, YOU PROVIDE.

6. In conclusion: shopping & spam. Oh, and I CAN ALSO DOWNLOAD MY SHOWS. So, Shopping, Spam, and TELEVISION.
