1. I got my president. High-fives to believers and non-believers alike - because hey, the President-elect is going to work for all of us. Secondly, if John McCain had been the John McCain of the concession speech, he might have been president. (Then again, if the financial world hadn't fallen into the kitchen sink, or if Sarah Palin had just been kept in her Hockey Mom Immaculate Bubble, or if that awful liberal media hadn't been asking so many questions - SO MANY QUESTIONS, or if the sky wasn't blue, and people weren't being persuaded to vote by a mascot army of Joe the ____________. You know, whatever. I'm happy about this.) Also, pandering to crazy people - I can't believe his supporters booed - sow the seeds of divisiveness, and well...that reaction spoke for itself, really.
2. Prop 8 passed. I just.....no. I didn't think it could happen here, but then again, I was ignorant of Log Cabin Republicans, so clearly there are just going to be factions/issues I don't ever agree on/with. I just know that this is not going to go away, and advocates are going to be fighting this through the courts. Because the people we love, the people we are - they should be allowed to marry who they love.
3. Happy Birthday to

As did the 50 million + people who turned out to vote for That One.
