MARKHAM,ONTARIO,CANADA IS DEAD TO ME.
Well. Possibly 'dead' is pushing it. Wrapped in a cocoon of ill will and unattractive orthopedic footwear is better.
So, it's summer, I've avoided scarjo's album, Stephen Colbert is still my BFH (Best Fake Husband), and the Venture Brothers are back.
And gas is 4.35 a gallon.
*sigh*
Also, I have installed Firefox 3 and I'm not sure it has actually made my life
better in any conceivable way, but all the new bells and whistles on google/gmail certainly are impressive. I use google docs all the time, I love the igoogle feature, and *whisper* I totally use google reader at work so I can read people's LJs. Obviously, the flocked ljs I can't do that with, but it's handy for keeping track of everything else.
New Thea Gilmore album, new Pratchett out in September, new DWJ in my grabby hands (IN LESS THAN A WEEK) and Where is Tom? I feel like we had an amicable separation and I've been so busy falling in love with other people (Miyavi! HOT GOTH MOMS!
Who doesn't love a hot goth mom?) that whenever a song of his comes up on DJ Milky, I feel a slight twinge of familiar ...longing's not the right word for it. Affection and wishes, I suppose. Oh well, it's my own fault for not keeping in touch.
ETA: a belated, very much so congratulations to
postcardjunkie for graduating. I owe you a sushi magnet. Among other things.
