hello cherie, let us take it from the top
Mar. 12th, 2006 10:49 amHey there f-list. Feeling a lot less crazy this weekend - just needed to vent and cry and act like a human kleenex for a while.
How've you been? Family oppressing you? Health problems? Boyfriend/Girlfriend being jackasses/angels - OMG I DO NOT DESERVE THEM (yes you do), gone to a gig or two? Bought some makeup? Had some pudding nudge nudge wink wink if you know what I mean? And I think you do. I had some. It was chocolate.
Southern California continues to amuse me with its rainbow weather. "Why, I think it should rain, rage against the dying of the light like a proper storm, but halfway through, I will cue the dazzling sunshine beams and from 49 degrees I will rise it to 50 degrees, and as a grand finale, I will make RAINBOWS! Two of them!"
At one point, I was sitting in traffic, it was indeed 50 degrees outside (10 c), rain was pounding down on my windshield, and the sun was shining. Oh spring showers, I've missed you.
( why my claim to geekdom does not include the care and feeding of a computer )
On the rec advice of many astute people I know, you should read
synecdochic's SGA (no, you don't need to know the fandom - I don't) fic : Freedom's Just a Word for Nothing Left to Lose
