Your husband's name is Matsumoto Jun and you have 2 children. You're a stripper who drives to work every day in a violet rickshaw.

It's truly a wonderful life when you consider the countless romantic nights you have spent with Matsumoto Jun in your shack in scotland.

Maybe I could be a selective stripper. Just take off my shoes or something. Or endurance stripping! Tons of layers on. Scarves, necklaces, roman gladiator shoes with those funky strings - and it would take me HOURS to remove all of it.

But still. I got evil-sama on my first try, and we live in SCOTLAND.

My other choices were: Takeshi Kaneshiro, Callum Blue, John Cho, and Hiro Mizushima. Of course I ended up with the one non English speaking husband, but that's OKAY. THIS IS THE POWER OF MY LOVE.

I don't know what options are going on in LJ, but when I'm signed out and I surf back to LJ, there's ads for Gay bear dating personals.

I am not a Gay Bear, so this slightly odd, but definitely amusing.

SPACED: the awesomesauce with more features for an American edition, is listed on Amazon.com to drop July 22nd. I just preordered my copy.

My new Diana Wynne Jones (OMG NEW HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE BOOK) is arriving on Monday. I am going to re-read Howl's Moving Castle sometime today, I think.

ETA: I know it's because I've been fully immersed in All Things Asian (and okay, it's mostly Japanese lately) so I've been neglecting Western media, but my God, I just googled the Fall.

Wow. I am so made of fail. I should have seen this movie YESTERDAY.

I did not go see The Fall after all today. Because when I opened my door, there was an amazon.com box and inside was THE BOOK. So instead I went to the panaderia and the supermarket - because I've been obsessed with flan for a while, and while the most delicious flan I've had was from the Mammoth Bakery in Marukai's food court (really creamy and more custardy than the usual Mexican flan) in this time of high gas prices, I decided not to venture out more than ten minutes away.

So I came home and inhaled this book.

Oh. OH. I've always wanted a proper sequel for Howl's Moving Castle, with Sophie and Howl (and if you've read Castle in the Air), Morgan, too and while they're not the focus of this book, they are very much there and so many things I've loved about HMC are in House of Many Ways.

I loved it.

I have to read it again.
