kitsune714, I thought I'd take a look at Mainland China's attempt to beat the dead shojo horse of Hana Yori Dango a little more dead. So far - Domyouji looks like Eita, which is freakish (he has a rooster's mohawk instead of the curls), Hanazawa Rui is unfortunately Fuggy Fug Fug, and Akira and Soujiro are indistinguishable to me so far except for the color coding - one of them wears pink and a pink fedora AND NO SOCKS, so I've dubbed him the Pink Ranger, or Pink Federline, and the other one wears green/olive? I don't know. He's not pink. So he's the Other One.
Domyouji is a professional car racer and spoilt, Makino rides a bicycle and is cheerful and spunky, Hanazawa Rui wears a vest and a bowtie and is Fug in the Face, Pink Ranger is a douche, and the Other One hasn't had much of an impact on me yet.
Mind you, I'm only 21 minutes in.
ETA: Seriously, China? Don't get out of the pool for these dickheads. I'd punch them in the face!
ETA2: Of course Faux Rei plays the piano. Sensitive princes always play the piano. Because you can't be sensitive if you're playing the oboe or the drums. Pink one is Akira and is a luxury resort/travel agency heir, Other one is Soujiro and a computer/IT whiz.
