hold my heart and watch it burn

Saw the Blind Side today - because I needed some feel good entertainment, and I also had to leave the house, as I am prone to long stretches of hermitdom.

It was as advertised, feel good entertainment and not overly football focused, plus Sandra Bullock is great in it. I love Sandra.

After that I went out to dinner with my friend, and we ate at this restaurant that we both enjoy because of the comfort food and the time warp we experience every time we go inside - for a dinner, including tip - you can pay under ten dollars, and you get the entree, a side dish, and a dessert. Portions are sensible, not Giant American size of Entitledment. It's not great food, but it's good enough.

Then we went to Costco and I pushed the cart because my friend's expecting and because I also enjoy pushing the cart. I lifted heavy things - water, fire logs (always with the knees, not the back) and if anyone needs something heavy to lift, I am the woman for the job.

...just checked my email and one of them said "it looks like Saff is going to Korea", and then the next email was from Aeon, scheduling an interview in January......
