but that's also because I just woke up (got in at 3 last night) from my L.A. Hotel Cafe charity concert thing, which ended up in a drive down Melrose blasting Gdragon's "Heartbreaker" at maximum level with the roof open, frantic car-dancing, and my first visit to the famed Pink's hotdogs (D! Honey of the Moon!) but...I'm assuming the number is SUPER HUGE AMOUNT OF LURKERS (hi friends and enemies!) and

now I'm about to go to my friend's house so we can go see the Princess and the Frog.

my cellist friend was there last night, but he was surrounded by women (as per usual) and I was too shy to say hello.

went to the Staples Center, saw the Princess and the Frog - there was a group of Goth Lolis in the audience, and one of them, a pink frilly one kept on getting up and going outside. She passed by me twice.

v. tired from this morning's breakfast of champions at Pink's, didn't wake up until noon and then it was off to Chinatown, which I've never been to (shocking, I know - but the places where I grew up, there were enclaves of Chinese people and Asians, so I just never felt like I needed to go to the Chinatown in Los Angeles). Bought a bracelet for five bucks, had a middling to meh cream bun, and wandered through a lot of the bazaars and stalls in the shopping plazas. Basically my inner twelve year old girl had a melt down - Pucca bags, Monokuro Boo, cell phone straps (though my cellphone doesn't have a place to hang one), nail varnish in all the colors of the rainbow, etc, etc.

I didn't buy anything and that was very difficult.

And then we went to relax at J's house for a little while before the movie started, and I met her cat Lily and her chinchilla (OMG [livejournal.com profile] cynicalism he's so SOFT. AND HIS EARS.) Chili and happiness was provided for FREE, which is always appreciated.

Eta: and everyone loved the cookies I baked yesterday. More baking tomorrow!
I liked Princess and the Frog, though the trailer for Toy Story 3 before it got me choked up a little bit. But yes - it's a beautifully animated film and though not a classic like their films from the 90's, it's well done and something they should do more of.
