so my grandmother's been seriously ill with the flu (the monster flu that's been sweeping th American nation) and I've been taking care of her for the past three days like the inefficient nursemaid I am )inefficient cos no matter what I do, it's always not the right way to do things, but she's sick so what can I do/)
so that's why I haven't been posting to LJ..or doing much of anything lately. I saw RoTK twice, but I'm waiting for M so we can see it together at least once before the new year.
I just started sneezing for an nhour straight ago and my nose is now stuffed up and my voice's completely gone. So it appears that I am now contagious and I can't hang out with anyone as I am sick and look like one of those women from lifetime movies.
but i promised myself that i'd get this post up because i've been making these icons and i hoarded them and i fi don't post them now, i'll forget.

I got a lot of cards today - the mailman showed up at 10:30 this morning! so thank you to everyone who managed to get their cards out to the post in time - i've not been able to go to the post office at all, but hey, card sandstuff in january still count, right?
other stuff - thanks tovoleuse, the announcement that Tom Mcrae is returning to California to tour in February and March should have made the rounds - if you don't know, you do now. Go to his website to find out the exact dates. Texas people, Tom's making the South West by South East music convention this year as well, so if you must go to that. I'm hoping my posse will be with me this new year watching Tom, and they all know who they are....
