kick start my rock and roll heart

Our Little Corner of the World: Music From Gilmore Girls is set for release September 24, the same day the music-centric WB TV series kicks off its third season. Personally selected by the program's executive producers, the 20-track album features Carole King and Louise Goffin's new version of the show's theme song "Where You Lead I Will Follow" and previously released tracks by Joey Ramone, the Shins, PJ Harvey, Björk, John Lennon and Yo La Tengo. ...
The Shins! PJ Harvey! Bjork!...Joey Ramone!
This series is an audiophile's wet dream.
Well, okay, if you subtract the sex implications. But - sadly I will not be able to watch it, as I will be grooving on Buffy, but I will be there in spirit. GG can veer on the dangerous side of twee, but it's still entertaining *good* television.
also on mtv.com - the White Stripes' Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground video
Since my dvd player can not play English PAL dvds, my DLotDG DVD is fairly worthless - but since I can see the video online, everything works out okay. A should be around sometime soon to hook up said dvd player...
Gaaaah. Jack White. Jack White in England. Those side by side flats and his little outfit. Gaaaaaah.
I recently discovered to my amusement, that my recent crushes (male) have all veered on the thinner, trimmer side of Jack Black. That undefinable charisma, messy dark hair...not quite classic good looks, but something more than 'cute'...it's difficult being celibate. But hey.
