yeah we will disappear
May. 15th, 2003 02:24 pmI knuckled under and bought the limited edition "Think Tank" by Blur. At first song, I was a bit worried - sounded like a dirge and a washboard, but it started kicking in on track five. Now I'm just grooving.
My poetry teacher asked me if I was considering the MFA program, because apparently I'm "very very good." I don't know. I always thought I would go into a program for creative short story writing, or novel, not poetry. Frankly, I'm getting a little burned out by school, and I still have another year to go (curse my year long sabbatical. curse it dead. I should have stayed depressed and ....well.) Oh well, it's a option to consider.
My poetry presentation went pretty well, as did my hair. No one can resist the power of hibiscus colored hair!
I heart you,
evemac. Just because. Also,
selenak? Your recent comments have made me crack up like Humpty Dumpty, only without the post modern angst. Your brain is just..wow, a thing I covet.
I still want a Dave.
Shed 7 are back? My, how the worm turns...

also? Damon Albarn has amazingly crap handwriting.
ETA: Finally, finally viewed NOTORIOUS C.H.O. Pretty raunchy and funny stuff, and though I know it's about Margaret, I would have liked to see more of the crowd energy reacting to her during the film (other than the audible applause and laughter)and not just before and outside of it. How cute is that geekboy with the piercing and spiked hair? So darling. Revolution Cho style, man, that's what I'm saying. Also, the new Vanity Fair with the Angels in America article and that GLORIOUS picture of Emma Thompson as the Angel? Could someone please please scan that picture for me? It's begging to be iconed. I always thought Emma was beautiful, but that picture just....floors me. She's luminescent.
