from the department of hormones
Feb. 23rd, 2004 03:05 pmA person of undefinable gender just sat down next to me in computer lab. I say undefinable because I can't really tell from the corner of my eye whether this person is a girl or a boy - has got popular asymmetrical black hair cut, darkish jacket on, and very nice hands. Also smells of cigarettes, but this effect is not making me want to throw up, which is a shock and a surprise. Looks like a bassist of glam indie band.
Really nice hands.
Oh dear. I need to go lie down.
Think it's a boy.
Not sure, can't just turn to the side and gawk.
I need to get kissed, very badly.
over and out.
eta: is boy. has nice leather carry all bag.
oh no. have horrible instant crush on boy with man purse.

Feb. 23rd, 2004 07:30 pmLex! The present came today! So you were the one who bought me Sunshine off my amazon list - I was wondering who had done it.....
Thank you! I can't wait to start reading it...Uncle Neil and Amber Benson blurbs on the bookflap - eeeee!
mistakency, I got that song, and don't worry, it fits in the mix. I always make the mix fit. *G*
morgaine22, I'm downloading Keane as I type this, I'll let you know what I think.
I watched Joan of Arcadia last Friday, but I forgot to mention it -I did a little surfing to figure out who was who, and it was a pleasant hour of tv - I think I'll start watching it, now that I essentially only have one primetime television show (Alias) in my viewing schedule. I need some help navigating the show, but no doubt my friendslist will fill me in. *G*
Also, the guy who plays Adam is in the new Emile Hirsch movie, The Girl Next Door.
Frankly, I'm a little sick of the girl next door. I've always been the girl next door and no one ever was that interesting or cute to be interested in in thatway. Currently, I live next door to a retirement home and a family with two toddlers. One of which always barges in this house at odd hours of the day, sometimes naked.
I mean, she's adorable, but it's a little disconcerting to walk in your living room and seeing a towheaded kid in a diaper bashing the remote control into the table.
Note to self: Do not have children. Ever. Be the cool aunt who takes them to museums, and as they get older, Condom Revolution.
