Next, part one of a fic I wrote because of researchminion's evil peppermint brain. Not a part of the Lauren ficathon, but it is sort of an alternate/companion to my fic for the Lauren ficathon.

morgaine22 had to drop out of the ficathon, so I'm taking her place, as this story was for researchminion anyway. Funny how the world works out.
