music's in the kiss we hold
Aug. 31st, 2004 12:02 pmIt's been bleaaaargh here - started school yesterday. Even with all the prep work I did, I still have to go through the aggravating add classes/parking lot circus. On Monday, I parked for the first time in the parking structure - big mistake, never doing that again. The cars are all at funny angles, and getting out of the structure without hitting anyone is a minor feat - plus, all those yield signs painted on the ground don't work if people ignore them.
My class schedule, if everything gets ironed out by next week:
M-W
Classics - The Underworld in Greek Mythology
English - Grammar
Asian American Studies - Intro to Asian American Lit
Tu-Th
English - Shakespeare I (Any of you happen to have a Norton's Shakespeare you'd be willing to unload? *G*)
English - Creative Writing Non-Fiction
I had a Critical Thinking course but I dropped it as it was Far Too Early in the morning and my credits were overloaded. I have a feeling I may be taking Political Science over the summmer....
Other than school worries and stress, I've been okay. The family unit is less Mt. Vesuvius and more Mt. Sullen, I've turned in more job applications ("I'm perfectly qualified in the art of non marketable skills!"), I've not dyed my hair, and I've just been wondering at what I'm going to do with the pockets of time that I have now - between school and...homework.
And the answer is not lj - if anything, I will be posting more on the weekends. I recovered some Ella Enchanted screencaps (long story short - idiot, emptied recycle bin, spent 12 dollars on a program to recover caps) so I'll be posting those, episode 2 screen caps of Dead Like Me, and some mp3s.
I owe people snail/mail, book reviews, mix cds, and recipes. Probably will get to it before the winter break.
( it's a poll )
lauranobaka, I love you.
