May. 11th, 2005 07:53 pmI FINALLY FINISHED READING JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR. NORRELL. 782 PAGES. DONE.
I've had the book since last year, but I didn't actually start reading it seriously until last Friday. Then I kept on getting distracted and putting the book down, and re-reading passages. The beginning is promising, the middle gets a little sticky and dry and hard to plod through, but the plot catches up and suddenly really speeds up by the last 100 pages.
I FINALLY FINISHED IT.
