Doris Lessing wins the Nobel Prize, and cracks me up with her indifference to it - because seriously, if you live to 88 and you're still writing, and being feisty and the type of women they describe as 'having moxie', winning the Nobel prize for literature is just icing on the cake.
I adore crotchety old women, and am going to be one when I get to that stage.
Dled Into Rainbows last night. Have yet to listen to it, as have been playing Sodagreen (Taiwanese rock band) and Matt Nathanson's latest, obsessively.
I am kind of in love with Jeremy&Juliet from Dirty Sexy Money, though I'm not sure it's the Inappropriate Bandwagon-having Fandom kind of way.
Mostly, it's ( for spoiler )
Also, I am very appreciative of wedges, because I come from the stock of Asian women who have stumpy legs, and wow, with wedges, it appears that I have longer, vaguely lithesome legs....and I can walk in them. Wedges forever!
(until they inevitably betray me.)
