the dead like me movie, studying cancer, and yes, I'm still fine

Oh, I think a rewatch is definitely in order.

I'm taking my mom back to UCI med center this Tuesday for a consultation with the doctor who will be performing her surgery. I've been handed a stack of print outs from the internet about stomach cancer with the strict instructions to make notes and study it. Only my mom would give me homework about her cancer. Then again, I would have studied up on it anyway.

I just watched Little Miss Sunshine for the first time, since I missed the hype about it the first time round, and because one of my coworkers at work won't shut up about the movie - it's her favorite movie and she said the ending would kill me dead.

I liked it well enough, and there were some definite loud out moments. Alan Arkin was probably my favorite character.
