I'm assuming LA weekly is doing a similar deal, but if it isn't...HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA, SO MUCH FOR YOUR 'CULTURAL SUPERIORITY'. Sorry, just had to do that - I'm tired of people making cracks about the Orange Curtain as if they have a right to - we are not your poorly dressed backwards talkin' cousin, no matter what the fuck Josh Schwartz wants you to think. Generally I believe in if you're from the place, then you have bragging/mocking rights, otherwise it's just being an ignorant jackass (which is fine if you admit it).
Anyway, this week's OC Weekly, with the Terminator on the front of it - is offering free screening passes to see a sneak peek of Howl's Moving Castle. Shar and I went down to Garden Grove to get them, and now I will be watching Howl on the big screen this Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. The best thing? Besides the free passes, obviously - is that the screening is taking place ten minutes from my house. SCORE ON A MILLION LEVELS.
Not that I wasn't willing to drive to LA to see Howl, because I still am - I have a feeling I'll be doing it soon, but to get my first screening free and ahead of everyone?
So. Damn. Cool.
I'm asking my best friend to go with me, but if I don't hear from her by tomorrow night, if anyone is willing to make the drive to Anaheim (or hey, check LA weekly), I would have a seat for them to see Howl.

Date: 2005-06-06 05:18 pm (UTC)So. This is me (breathing) - freely admitting to being a bit of a jackass about SoCal. It's okay, though, because I'm from No...Cal. Um. And No...Cal rules.
...
Maybe I should leave and then come back in again?
