Oh, Jin would totally be the master of stupid, grandiose plans that blow up in his face, because he is a lover, not a great thinker, at least, that's how I read him. Tego's actually Maki's age, or just a little younger, isn't he? He could totally work the puppy love angle and then freak out if she actually smiled at him.
I imagine the unofficial line would be, 'you marry one Johnny, you marry them all', and NEWS would so horn in on that honeymoon action (Ryo and Koyama doing a play by play of the wedding night and Yamapi threatening to kill them all), and Jin would try to go for the last minute kidnapping attempt then, and try to swap Yamapi out with Toma and hope Maki wouldn't notice.
