bluelovesorangeback to Hana-Kimi again (sorry non-interested bits of my FL!) it naturally has been picked up for fan-subbing, by B.O.N. FunSubs. Who are also subbing Inoue Mao's (also airing in July) summer series, along with the Nino and Sho from Arashi drama, Yamada Taro Monogatari (Which coincidentally, is also airing in July). Eh I only really care about Maki and Mao (heee! they should play sisters in a drama in the future - and Mao can be the evil one!) so that was easy....
But I'm sure it'll find its way to all the usual places and have other fsubbers working on it - I really do think Hana Kimi is going to be the next Hana Yori Dango. As long as they keep true to the silliness/essence of the manga, they should have a hit. The screenwriter for HK wrote the scripts for the tv adaptation of Densha Otoko (Maki and Shun were in that) and that had monster ratings....so hopefully some of that otaku magic will drift Hana Kimi's way.
Hana Kimi's airing schedule is from July to September...this is like the best birthday present (ANVIL MY BIRTHDAY IS IN SEPTEMBER AND I CELEBRATE ALL MONTH LONG) ever! Okay, except for that time when I went to england to see my friend play a gig. But this is second best. And doesn't really effect my life in a really meaningful way, as in profound or deep, but screw deep. Sometimes I just want to be ENTERTAINED.
