yet another Jdrama remake of a Korean drama

Besides the Jdrama based on My Sassy Girl, there's now another Jdrama remake based on a Korean drama - Ohno Satoshi and Ikuta Toma are going to be the leads in TBS' remake of Mawang. It will air in the summer.

Arashi's leader and everyone's favorite kohai. Veeerrry interesting. Who's playing the psycho killer? Ohno is! Awwwww.

oh God, they are remaking Mawang. Yikes. I am just watching it now and it's totally brilliant. The thought of a remake is not making me happy. My dislike of Ikuta Toma doesn't help. Oh well...at least they won't be remaking Capital Scandal :)

Well, you know, it was bound to happen. Taiwan's been playing the adaptation/remake game for a while, Korea's doing HYD, and Japan looooooves their murder/mystery genre, so I'm not surprised.

I've always wanted to see a japanese adaptation of Mawang (Even though I wanted to see Yamapi as the lawyer...**sigh**)
Maybe there's still hope of an adaptation of A love to kill (with Yamapi and Maki *w*)

That's a random remake... I haven't seen the kdrama, but can't help but feel the j-drama version is going to end up campy, especially with the idol leads... like a fake noir version of Liar Game.
