Yeah, I mean, this happens all the time with you. These kind of accidents. -- Shou to Chisato, episode 8

ETA: see you @ [livejournal.com profile] atadan

So, consider this a retrospective of sorts, a fond look back at all the little moments, the little detours that have somehow meandered back into marvelous moonlit madness. And because there's only three episodes left and I don't know where it'll go, especially with the preview for episode nine - 100 jumps in a jump rope competition? Okay, Shinzo-san, I get you're all about indulging your inner child, but wtf? I think the lawyer and the secretary are making stuff up at this point.

The meetcute. Because nothing says future OTPing like sudden exposure to half naked manflesh, EVERYWHERE.

Shou's immediate assessment of Chisato is that she's short. Oh, blissful innocent days.

That Shou. Always such a gentleman, trying to preserve Masaru's modesty.

He helps Chisato get back into the castle and then continues to help her out in a variety of little ways -

like aiding and abetting her in getting all the brothers together, if it's a little unconventional....and later getting taken hostage for their troubles.

Oh, sparky sparky eye flirting.

I mean, you have to consider that this is only TWO episodes in, and already they've gone through a life or death situation.

and then we meet the skeletons in Shou's closet:

his ex, Saki

Who is the mother of his child, Riki

have some gratuitous shots of Shou and Riki-kun crying! Fuji: going for the ovaries.

Chisato is always handing him stuff, isn't she?

And then when trouble in the form of prodigal eldest son, Fuu turns up, Sho's the brother that wants to hear Chisato's side of the story before she is unceremoniously kicked out of Trick Heart Castle.

Why? Because I CAN.

and he officially welcomes her back home.

Of course, it's not AtaDan without a little bit of crazy stirring up the place:

Ably provided by Fuu

Because as any drama fan knows, the course to true OTP never runs smoothly.

Especially if one half is prone to explosive bits of ass-kickery.

And the other half has an inscrutable, shady aura surrounding him.

Spending his time in her room when she's not there.

I mean, really, Shou, why do you need Chisato's bra?

Not that he's interested in her unmentionables. Oh no.

That's pitch woo, Shou, not pitch her underwear at her head.

next post, episode 7 and 8, aka: the arc of Joy.
