I went through phase one of wisdom teeth extraction last night (and yes, extraction is an apt word) and today I'm okay - no pain, no more bloody gauze, but I won't be able to chew on the left side of my mouth comfortably until I go in next week so the dentist can take out the sutures. (THAT'S RIGHT. SUTURES. Dental surgery is more hardcore than you think.) And then next week, the right side of my mouth gets worked on. So much fun in my life, yes?

i'm an old put up or shut up school of writer, so I can write pretty much anything as long as there is some sort of background information on it available/easily found. Past fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter, Dead Like Me, Veronica Mars (but I won't write LoVe), Alias, and though I'm not actively seeking out fandom for it, I quite enjoy Leverage and Community.

As for Asian things, you know what I can write.

so really. I'm game. Unless I can't, in which case I will tell you. :D

hmm...maybe i'll just be traditionalist (because i already asked someone for draco/luna) and ask for something short and sweet and massu/maki. :)

this is like, me dipping my hand into the NEWS waters after not writing about them forever, so OOC, cattiness and contrivance abounds! So consider this a warm up. (and not connected to actual M x M sweetness)

"Did you see her?"

Koyama looks up when Shige enters their practice room, a stack of books clutched underneath his arm. He must have come directly from class.

"See who?" Koyama asks.

"Horikita Maki-chan. She's out in the lobby."

"Really? Is she meeting someone here?"

Shige shrugs. "Probably Sakurai-san. She was by herself though, I didn't see any one who looked like a manager. Maybe she's not here for business."

"You think she's here for...pleasure?" Koyama's voice drops, and he leans in. "You know what I heard? I heard that she and Sakurai-san are...friendly."

Shige sighs. Koyama's tendency to gossip like a housewife was one of his less endearing traits, but he meant well. "Sakurai-san is friendly and professional," he stresses the word, "with everyone. Besides, you said the same thing with Yuichi-kun."

"Okay, so that one was a little off the mark," Koyama admits grudgingly. "But he did seem awfully keen on her when she was on his show."

"You know anything that happens on camera is suspect, and due a closer inspection," Shige says.

Koyama gives him a Look. "Thanks for the assessment, sensei. I just mean, never mind. You have no sense for romance."

"Oh and you do," Shige retorts. "I seem to recall a certain walk of shame in Ginza and a very angry Mama-san calling me at two in the morning."


"That was a MISUNDERSTANDING," Koyama shrieks, just as Ryo walks in. "Hey, did you guys see Horikita Maki in the lobby?"

"Yes," Shige and Koyama say in unison. Ryo stares at both of them, and then asks, "Well do you know why? Usually we don't get stray females wandering around by themselves."

"If you were so concerned, why didn't you invite her in," Shige asks.

Ryo frowns. "I did say hello," he says testily. "She bowed her head and greeted me and then that was it. Maybe she's waiting for someone. But I don't get why receptionist-san just didn't have her wait in one of the suites."

"That would have made it easier for Sakurai-san, certainly," Koyama says.

"What?" Ryo looks incredulous. "Sakurai-san is the last person to bring girlfriends to the office. He's not Jin, you know."

"And those weren't girlfriends," Shige says. "I believe they were Vivi models January through March."

*rubs hands in anticipatory GLEE*

OH. I checked my cellphone and even though at the time they couldn't download the photo 'live', when I checked my inner photoalbum, the pictures you sent were THERE. So YAY. BB and Poop are my wallpaper currently. :D

and also, heh. I was actually restrained re: Jin, all things considered.
