1. What the hell is this song that I put on this mix cd? I've never heard it before in my life...well, now I have, obviously...but...what the hell IS IT? I have Keane, Clearlake, Orishas, Buena Vista Social Club, Clinic on this cd, so I can't go by genre to help me figure out what it is. (ahem. Is Fischerspooner.)

[livejournal.com profile] morgaine22, I think I also found the version of Somewhere Only We Know that you first told me about - it's more acoustic, and I have another version, live at Maida Vale.

2. I vastly prefer the 1968 version of Romeo & Juliet to Baz Luhrman's version. Poor Leo Whiting, he didn't age well.

3. Mmmm, watched the last half of the Oscars. I have to say, I was toying with the thought of what would have happened if Keisha Castle-Hughes won? *g*

4. Hey, is Diego Luna in this month's GQ (the one with Angelina Jolie on the cover?) Could someone please check their issue for me? This is just so I don't go on a mad chase looking for it....

*cough* Research *cough*

5. The guy who plays Adam on Joan of Arcadia really reminds me of a young John Cusack. I think it's his nose or just the shape of his face. I'm not looking for a Lloyd Dobler, version 2.0 or anything...I'm just sayin.

I will love you FOREVAH. The Poets will have to write big long epics about our Love, yo.

THere was another song that I found in my ss travels called "Wind through the trees" or something equally bizarre, but the guy had it remotely remotely queued, and then he disappeared.

*sigh*

certainly.

*g*

Well, good thing I didn't download it, and suffer the five second disappointment that it wasn't Tom...but Ed instead. Not that I don't like Ed...
