Mizuki's decided to pull up stakes and move on back to America, because Sano's back on track....and doesn't need her. She can go back to her 'real' life. Except Nakatsu's not all that pleased about her decision.


And definitely not the part where she entrusts the care and feeding of Sano to him.

Like the original festival (which usually takes place in the seventh day of the seventh month), it's based on a legend of starcrossed lovers, one from Blossom Gakuen and one from Ohsaka Gakuen, who met on the rooftop of Ohsaka, insuring true love and happiness.

Nanba-sempai, Nakao, and Oscar's plans for ruining the Tanabata festival for their students involve sending the boys off into booby trapped paths and having their girlfriends witness their boyfriends' potential fall from grace, and then deciding whether they'll go off to the roof with them or not.

I ship OT3 and god knows how many friendships, because with this show? It's FUNNER THAT WAY.

No, they (Nakatsu and Sano) call her Mizuki because that shows that they're really comfortable with her - most everyone else calls her Ashiya (Sekime, etc.)Last name familiarity is the norm/friendly, but using first name implies a closer relationship/friendship.

Plus all the added 'kun' and 'san' and stuff. But they don't tend to use that a lot in HK, as it's a pretty relaxed environment.

their "side quest" this episode was uproariously funny (i really like the anime/cosplay bits, coz i do cosplay myself), and they're really including Kayashima in a whole loada things. it kinda makes me go, "oh, these teenaged boys!"

(i was also very amused that there is a plant in Kayashima/Nakatsu's maisonet... oops i mean hostel room)

and Umeda is starting to rock. he gets more awesome every episode.

And by that, I mean, specially EVIL AND AWESOME. I like that it's all about the acting that makes you forget about the original manga character - because he and Ryo (Oscar) don't look like their counterparts but they both act the hell out of their parts so you forget that - and they really got the essence of said character.

I hope for more screentime too. I don't know what's up with his schedule lately, he did this too for HYD 1, where there was a play going on simultaneously with HYD shooting, and it wasn't so jarring then, because Rui was a side character (and then compare it with his presence in the second season, when he was more available), but as the main lead, it is noticiable. I still love his Sano, because I don't mind subtlety, I tend to overanalyze anyway, and just the nuances in his expressions...they say a lot to me, but yeah, he needs to have more face time.
