Thanks to smithereen for the heads up. Masterpiece Theater is presenting the Complete Jane Austen, starting tonight on your local PBS station. They appear to be all Andrew Davies adaptations, so the seminal Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle Pride & Prejudice will be aired over three nights in February. I own it on DVD (obviously), but I still might tune in during February. I came home late from a grand day out - I went up and down all Rowland Heights - went on a hike, scored some sweet deals (pink and black Chucks for TEN DOLLARS), picked up some gorgeous Goong branded stationery from Ohayo, had an eclair from Beard Papa's, split beef noodle stew, fried dumplings and a green onion pancake with my friend. Best date ever, yo.

I'm watching Persuasion now, and....hellllo, Captain Wentworth. Persuasion is my favorite Austen after Pride & Prejudice, and then Sense & Sensibility. Still haven't managed to watch the first ep of Honey & Clover, but the soft subs for the first ep of the Nodame in Europe SP are out, I'm downloading the second ep of Robbers (and the lead guy is from Thank you, which I heard good things about, so I have to add that to the queue), still haven't watched Hong Gil Dong, and I might backburn the rest of the jdramas this season so I can watch Ashita no Kita Yoshio, because ZOMG THE CAST.

Shota's scary kill you in your bed older brother! Kuriyama Chiaki! Kaname Jun!

And in distressing rumors, apparently Yamapi's going to be in the live action adaptation of Peach Girl (I HATE THIS MANGA) with Yui Aragaki. I just....barf.

Oh Anne, everyone else is stupid.

Seriously. Captain Wentworth! I mean, it's like they said to themselves, is there anything in the world that could make this guy hotter than Mr. Darcy? And then they made him blonde. And OMG! The smoldering LOOKS. So many LOOKS. Duuuuude, I am not made of stone here.

Yamapi in Peach Girl? I hate this manga too so I really hope that he doesn't do these. Grr.

Peach Girl is very popular here (France) or that what I think.. I knew there's a TW adaptation (which was not that popular)& I just stopped after wasting my time on the 1st eps..
