Picspam Monday. Because Columbus Day isn't something I celebrate.
Jaejoong (TVXQ) as photographed by Mika Ninagawa, FRAU 10/10

FRAU 10/10

Mika Ninagawa is a celebrated photographer/film director (Sakuran) whose usual trademark is the super saturated, vibrantly colored and above all dream like and idealized (glamorized) pop portraits, which often feature repetitive motifs of flowers and other symbols of nature, but in a distinctly in your face aesthetic. Also, she shot Sho Sakurai (Arashi) as a go go dancer, with a pole. Clearly she has mad skillz and an unique imagination.
I own Ninagawa Women (stunning portraits of a lot of Young Japan (and not so Young) greatest or beautifulest actresses inside, along with musicians and models), Mika's Day Dream Theater, New Half (which is a one off magazine collection featuring transgendered people), another collection I can't remember the name to right now, and of course various magazine features with her photography. I hope to own all of her photobooks one day, because I just love the look -
scans from Day Dream Theater
King of All Ikemen now and forever: Oguri Shun

Kase Ryo

Narimiya Hiroki

Mika's work is not to be confused with Asami Chikawaya's work - Asami is a stylist, from what I gather, while Mika is a photographer - Asami's photospreads often have an elegant arts and crafts, delicate touch to them:

Hirosue Ryoko, Catch the Girl

Following catboy, it's only appropriate to show off a boy with a cat - Mukai Osamu in Chou Chou. These scans are not mine, they're slightly tweaked versions of ones from baidu.com

You're welcome, Internet Ovaries. YOU'RE WELCOME. I don't know who's cuter, Osamu or the cat. IT'S A VERY CLOSE CALL. LOOK AT THAT FACE.
and yes, you can use these scans for graphics and such. All scans are mine unless otherwise stated, credit would be nice.
