You'll always be a planet to me, Pluto!
Aug. 24th, 2006 12:16 pmFuture kids don't know what they're missing.
I received my threadless order yesterday, and it came with a very snazzy yellow number 2 pencil. It is a delicious shade of purple.
Despite the 'weather' saying so, fall has arrived in California retail shops, so I spent a very pleasant yesterday in Michael's, buying what felt like half the shop, but was really only a few candles (tin candles are $1!) and some pencils and ribbons. I have spiced pumpkin and spiced apple candles, so I'm all set.
Their clearance aisle is awesome, and I wish I could knit, because there was some really cool looking yarn on clearance, and I could have made....the world's ugliest scarf! Or sad sack mittens! The world will never know now.
Then it was off to Borders where I fed the growing shojo beast within me (I blame you Rebecca, I never read this much shojo before, it is like an aftershock from Comic-Con, and yes I know you blame me, so this is our shiny circle of blame complete) and picked up the new Penny Arcade book along with 3 volumes of Chocolat.
( on shojo manga I've read/bought recently )
More shopping online:
Fresh beauty is having a big sale on all their cosmetics and skin care line
Chronicle Books is also having a summer sale
and Urban Decay is selling all their nail varnish at five dollars a bottle
and I should just have a Rebe filter, at this point: if you've seen the Venture Brothers episode Victor. Echo. November, a bright and beautiful world of cosplay has just opened up. It is like our boyfriend wrote the episode just for US. There are new outfits for Dr. Girlfriend, Triana, and we see Triana's friend Kim! Along with a LJ shoutout. Plus more. I have screen caps, holler if you want them.
*G* for GINORMOUS GEEK
Vox me up, scotty.
