10 things I find sexier than Yamapi's an-an 'photoshoot'

A totally tongue-in-cheek-so-hard-it's-sticking-out-of-my-mouth list of ten things I find sexier than Yamashita Tomohisa's recent spread (and how now everytime I refer to it even in the most innocent of words, I hear 70s porn music in my head.) in An-An. Also, I could have gone for more than 10 things, but I wanted to be concise.

Maki Horikita has this trick of appearing less clothed than she actually is and it's ALL IN HER EYES. I'm well aware that she's a girl, and I'm a girl, and I say Maki is sexier than Yamapi, and I don't care who knows it.

For that matter, so is Meisa Kuroki. I LIKE NICE BOYS TOO, MEISA. They're also nice with ketchup.

Now I know this shop photo is probably all airbrushed to hell, but it's Evil-sama, and in my favorite phase of his hair, where it's all spiky and unruly and he is wearing I wanna be a rocker and rock out black (AND RED) nailpolish and I have this scenario in my head wherein Evil-sama and I go out on a date, and it consists of us holding flowers in one hand and the other one's hand in the other, and going around and making fun of people. AND IT IS THE BEST DATE EVER. Making out would be optional, but I'd just be so HAPPY being with him, that doesn't even need to happen. So yeah. Matsujun and his nailpolish are sexier than Yamapi.

I find most of the an-an celebrity shoots to be quite cheesy lame, honestly. Because they use the same schtick every shoot.

awesome on 1-5,7,9,10 and thanks to you, i finally got to see that o'brian/colbert/stewart feud! my aunt and brother has been telling me about it (coz i have a semi-crush on colbert) :) its made of awesomeness, i was crying from laughing!

Pi's gratuituous nudity was the effort his trainer put into making him look toned and muscular instead of just thin and pretty, because I was trying hard to find the sexy, and kept up on coming up with lame metaphors and laughing inappropriately. The LV sheets, the girl as PROP, Yamapi's blankness - if I wanted to see two disinterested people going at it, I would have watched P rhymes with corn.

What does this, if anything, have to promote Pi-as-Kurosagi, other than to further Yamapi-as-ero-brand for JE?

That's why I don't think it's sexy, and made mostly of fail. And footnotes for mocking.

BUT. I realize I may have harshed your mellow, which was actually not my intention, because I can see why other people would be all ::nosebleed:: about this shoot.

So, isn't Takeshi Kaneshiro absolutely beautiful?

The problem with that photoshoot (mine, of course) is that it gives the feeling that Pi is trying too hard to show that he is sexy. He already is and I don't think that he "needs" to take his clothes off to demonstrate it to the world. Maybe that was an order from Johnny himself but... poor Pi. He's starting to give me the same feeling I get with Nagasawa Masami; she tries TOO HARD appearing cute to everyone that it really gets on my nerves because instead of cute, she acts very annoying (even though she's pretty cute, but I can't stand her lately)...

I've been thinking that it could be a good idea if someone tries to make a fic of Tegoshi trying to psicoanalize that photoshoot XD.

That was one of the other myriad reasons I had for not really enjoying that photoshoot (except to clinically analyze why it SUCKED) - the aura of trying-too-hard-desperation. I've seen that happen before with other Johnnies, even my beloved Evil-sama is not immune to it, and the thing is - the younger generation is simply not ready/or up to these kind of shoots as their sempais were. That's why whenever I see overly ero-ero performances that are geared to make the fangirls scream, I just shrug and laugh, because it's so calculated. I like fanservice, don't get me wrong. I find it amusing and sometimes it works really well. But stuff like...oh I don't know, for an example, KATTUN's friendly neighborhood manwhore, Jin's lip thing and Pinky and that ridiculous hip swivel thing?

MAKES ME LAUGH AND LAUGH. Because it's like, 'this is what 'sexy' is advertised as and therefore I will do it all the time.'

Problem is, An-An shoots and the studied posing/gimmickry...it's all repetitive and starts to blend in with one another after a while to me. And it gets boring.

You know it's a sad day when I can't find anything to like about pretty people who are naked - in Pi's case, so what? At this point, what's left to see? (well other than the glaringly obvious)

I didn't see real sexy.

Tegoshi is magic, but not even he can save this photoshoot, unless you're thinking in a slashy way.

Not sexy at all. He looked beautiful though, but not sexy as his blog entry said. And you're right about Jin as well. He is sexy, but I find that thing he does w/his tongue really stupid and makes me want to smack him everytime I watch him doing that. ^^º ... sorry
I was thinking of a fic where Tegoshi basically makes fun of him... not slashy at all, but then again... I suck at writing even in my own language... maybe I'll try to do that later.

Yeah, that's true... Although it could be funny if (in the tegomassuki universe) Tego says to Yamapi when NEWS is having dinner together "Pi-tan! did you know that the next photoshoot for Tegomassuki is going to be very similar to your ANAN one?"
Yamapi chokes and spills his iced tea on Shige's face. "What??!!??" he responds alarmed.
"See? I told you it would be funny to say that to him" Ryo hissed to Tegoshi.

* An An photoshoot - you're right, it seems a bit....forced. theres a bit of hesitation that seems to radiate through Pi there. i still bought it though, called the bookstores and got 2 copies (for me and for my friend, not like one for safe keeping, coz for goodness sake, i can't even explain that mag to my cousins/aunts when they see that).

i actually think Kimura's sexy photoshoot before and Hiroki Narimiya's An An shoot years back were hotter.

Takeshi Kaneshiro just wins in all angles. he speaks many languages! he's a great actor! and he made us watch an AIDS-Love Story dorama and made it oh so good, and humane, you'd cry a river! i haven't kept tabs on him lately though, but he's like one of my main asian hotties - Takuya Kimura being my #1 (though i don't keep tabs much on his life either, since JE eats our time so much).

okay this is ridiculously long already!
